Travel along the scenic San Francisco to San Diego … all the routes, camping stops along the way?

Quick trip in southern CA and saving, a Californian who has never seen a large part of California … suggest a stop at Big Sur, Hearst Castle … research recommendations or suggestions for itineraries for a trip short and return to San Diego

You are allowed to drive through Big Sur. His most beautiful stretch of coastline in California. It is good for camping. Monterey is a cool little downtown area around the aquarium. It is the OLS. Jalama is a beautiful place in Santa Barbara. THE is a kind of mess, I opt to go straight and the camp of San Clemente and Carlsbad. Once in SD I would be sure to check out Balboa Park. Be sure to check reservations in camping because it is the beach season.
