Love the outdoors. Where to go for Spring Break?

I'ma college student and I like hiking / walking / Camp / trek river rafting / / etc, but I'm on a very limited budget. Right now I'm in Eastern Washington, and it's too cold do any of these things for spring break, so I was wondering if anyone knows a good place to go (So Cal? AZ? etc.) that will be hot to mid-March. I have a week and I heard of Zion and of course the Grand Canyon would be great, but my bank account is very low, then the transportation to a warm place is a problem. Lost cause? PS: I have the most equipment I might need, it just airfare is problem. PPS I love camping, or simply a series of day hikes, I love fishing (Preferably for things as the use of equipment trout), I like rough terrain, and I take pictures.
