Why do most people in the armed forces of the United States hate the French?
IMY son Afghanastan step is now my boss served during Desert Storm, they hate the French! MY Kid step sent me a picture of their camp with a big sign saying $% # @ The French. Is it because they are unapricative? They did not invite the Queen of England for the big day! This might sound like a blog, and it may be.
where are some cool places to go camping in a scout troop about 6 or 7 boys?
List of places for the winter and summer please. We want to go somewhere that a troop of twenty big boys could not go. What activities we could do if we're camping? What activities are cool that we could do if we meet once a week? (Capture of the fight against Food Pavilion, taco-eating contest, etc. ..) fun things to do
Rocky Mountain National Park backcountry could be a good goal. When I did the maximum number of people for most sites was 7 people. He is then able to ride in Colorado for many locations in the United States. The trail system is really good. The Adirondacks of New York is another great destination. The bugs can be a problem in the summer. I went once around Easter, when the spring was trying to break into the winter in the backcountry. It was a wonderful time of year to be there. The bug disappeared. You should take snowshoes and remain in shelters around the lakes. You can take tours from there part of the mountain. There was hardly anyone there when I'm gone. The meats are a great place to go. I did a high adventure camp Camp Davy Crockett who We had 31 miles of the AT, then we met with a rafting company to run the Nolichucky. It was a great moment. There are many more destinations there. (However, a lot, I would like to see.) I recommend that the time spent in meetings focus mainly on some type of long-term goal. The only game meeting is not a bad thing to build a team and as such, but if you're not focusing on the major objectives you set yourself in scouting, then it becomes other social program with a different name. Purpose much fun now, play hard. Good luck to you.
I'm going camping tomorrow night and want to make inexpensive, healthy food. I thought just a bag of apples Haha but I think I might get sick if I do that … What's low in fat? As the same Pancake / Wraps such thing? I think I'll take some sandwiches. Some people have a BBQ but I think I can not afford to do as I am trying to be thin to next weekend:) So, what healthy things cheapish can I take? Thank you! x
I want a magazine that has produced reviews / previews on walking and camping. I just recently started overnight hiking and camping, instead of my usual day hikes. I used to do all my information from my shop now touring. I would like to know what are the best brands for certain products, which is the better for my money, I'm going to need on long trips, what brands / items to avoid. The next time I go to the store, I'll ask the guys there what is good, but I thought I would review too. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance!
I already subscribe to Backpacker, and also adventure. These magazines are not always complete product evaluations and so forth, but all they usually notice a sort of bag back hiking /. They also have boards for all levels of hikers, and great locations you want to visit one day. Both magazines are interesting dealing with the doors wide, but they might not be what you are looking for if you only want pure product reviews.
What is a good place to go camping / hiking in the forest in California, for advanced hikers?
I walked in the forests Minnesota, which are somewhat wild and vast forests. I would try something similar in California. I ocated in Southern California, and I noticed on a map, park Sequioa seems pretty great, but I see some of the roads pass through them. I do not see the road when I walk, camping there any place ten miles or so perhaps it would be perfect! Any Hikers in Cali who like to hike and camp, please let me About Whats up.
Sequoia Kings Canyon is connected to. The end of the road, it is called Cedar Grove. You can hike in the country there as far as you like. There is a 45 mile loop called the Rae Lakes Loop is very pleasant. It is partly on the JMT / PTC. You can also hike Cresent of Meadow in Sequoia High Sierra on trail. It take you away Kaweah and beyond. Google some of these names and have a great ride. As always, day over the best

Every year I go to a summer camp in Dahlonega, GA. Our church has a program so that their youth could attend camp for free. But last summer, we moved across the country and it would cost nearly $ 1,000 just to get (+ cost of airfare Camp). This is not only the camp, but I'll also get to see my best friends (they always go with me). My parents will not pay for it becaue my sister is going to Europe this summer (very expensive). I'm only 13 and I get no allowence. How can I make as much money?
Try babysitting, cleaning houses. Talk to your teachers at school. Maybe get a couple of friends together and do a car wash, but I do not know if it's 100% legal … A bake sale itself.

I think they are very good. I have accepted as a great Chem and intend to do pre med too. you and I did a lot of the stuff at school, my only weakness was the SAT that is why I rejected most of my first choices, like Stanford (I just received this morning, so I'm still in my phase angry) My friend has also been accepted at BU and has not done nearly as much extracurricular stuff and had a score lower Sat you. But what can I say, colleges do strange things and it is totally unfair …… success

Remember these food safety and storage advice camping and on holidays when everyone avoid upset stomach problems, which nobody wants at any time especially when you are away from home on vacation.
When you use an esky or cooler and ice for perishable foods, not wait until you have more ice before buying more. Ice is readily available in service stations, bottle stores, supermarkets and shops, even in areas remote areas, where we camped we found we could buy ice everywhere. Keep your refrigerator or esky in the shade any time and keep food in plastic containers or bags of water tight.
Keep your drinks in a separate esky or cooler for convenience and if you are not constantly releasing the cold air and ice will last longer.
When you leave your cooler / Esky fridge or outside and you leave your campsite for a period to ensure that animals can not tip over and try to get content.
If you prepare frozen meals before leaving home, store them in plastic containers, place in your esky / cooler or refrigerator. This will keep the temperature colder, so it is frozen. When food is thawed you some easy prepare meals.
Dry foods should be placed in secure boxes or tubs and introduced animals and out of the sun. Keep them in your vehicle, trailer, tent, etc.
If your family like jelly or something similar to a group in the morning, place in a small plastic container suitable place it in your refrigerator or cooler near the ice. It will be ready for later easy candy in the day.
Generally veges and fruits are difficult to keep for more than a few days, they go cold if you keep them in a refrigerator or cooler or they sweat in a box or insulated bag. The only way I found is using the product packaging or veges freely in a paper towel towels or cloth and keep in a cool bag with zip and open it slightly to the sun. Just wash them just before use, particularly lettuce and just wash the part that you will use.
If all food odor, are obsolete or do not look right, do not use them, it is not useful to an upset stomach or worse the "Chucky.
Never be tempted to cook something in your tent, a spark touch a flame or flammable product is very dangerous.
Food can be pre-measured and stored in ziplock bags to preparation easy. Rather than take a big bag of rice for example. Determine how many meals you will need to take and the appropriate amount. Do the same for other Food and you will see that you will be less, so a small box or bath will be necessary?
Wash dishes as soon as you can after your meal and get rid of waste in the trash or the nearest responsibly, without encouraging wildlife to visit your camp.
